At its heart BBFF is a festival for filmmakers which seeks to nurture and encourage our local film industry. Every year we host a number of free events for filmmakers at all stages of their careers. In partnership with Industry Development and Education Partners the festival seeks to provide opportunities for filmmakers to grow and develop their skills base.
Although these are free events they are being run by top specialists in their field, we ask that you arrive on time, so as not to disturb the other participants, and stay for the whole session, tea and coffee will be provided.
These workshops will run from 90 minutes to 3 ½ hours in the SCU Room at the Byron Community Centre. Whether you are an established or emerging Filmmaker or just curious about the filmmaking process you're welcome to come along. We ask that you register your interest at thecrew@bbff.com.au
