Byron Bay International Film Festival have announced that they will reopen entries to local filmmakers from the Northern Rivers Area for one week only from Tuesday January 18th to Monday the 23rd to celebrate BBFF’s recent accreditation with the Inside Film Awards.
The televised IF Awards were created by Inside Filmmagazine as a means of acknowledging creative talent in the Australian filmmaking industry. New local and Australian films included in BBFF’s official selection will automatically be eligible for nomination in the 2011 Inside Film Awards with the audiences at the upcoming festival asked to vote and rate the films they’ve seen. This is an opportunity for Northern Rivers filmmakers to gain recognition for their work on a National platform.
Filmmakers who live between Grafton & Tweed Heads should email info@bbff.com.au for more information on how to submit their films.
