CC Goldwater presents a dramatically different surprising look at the evolution of the conservative movement told through the life of the first modern conservative, her grandfather, the often cantankerous, always provocative, Senator Barry Goldwater. At the height of his power, Goldwater was the symbol of conservatism yet his support, in later years of issues like abortion and gay rights seem a stark contrast to the modern republican movement. The documentary challenges our perceptions of this fascinating individual who could have been President.

CC Goldwater founded Sweet Pea Films in 2005. Her first film, MR.CONSERVATIVE: GOLDWATER ON GOLDWATER, is a documentary that offers an intriguing glimpse into the public and private life of Senator Barry Goldwater.

Ms. Goldwater has served as a television entertainment correspondent in New York for “Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee,” and in Los Angeles with “Hollywood Close-Up.” In addition to her television work, Ms. Goldwater has
contributed to several regional and national travel and lifestyle publications, including ITEM and METRO New York. She has also partnered in a public relations firm in New York and a public relations/advertising firm in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Ms. Goldwater was born and raised in Paradise Valley, Arizona, where she currently resides.
