OF WAVES AND WORTH

OF WAVES AND WORTH is a short film that brings focus to the representation of women in the surf community of Cornwall.

Especially in colder waters, female surfers have often been overlooked in the surf culture and media, having to push through barriers just to be seen and to keep doing what they love.

This film follows Bella Rose Bunce, a local surf photographer and the first female editor of Wavelength Surf Magazine, to hear first-hand how these challenges have shaped her journey and how she has become an inspiration for future generations of female surfers.

OF WAVES AND WORTH is a celebration of those carving out space and a reminder that change is already in motion.
