Can I sit with my friends?

Screenings at Brunswick Picturehouse, The Regent and Lennox Cultural Centre are general admission (no allocated seating).

At Palace Cinemas Byron Bay all seating is allocated and while you can share your seat numbers with friends so they can try to select something close, it’s a good idea to book as a group.

Why is there no printed program this year?

Save the trees! We are keeping our website and social media up to date and full of all the information you may need.

The session I wanted to go to is sold out, how can I see this film?

Popular sessions will sell out, so book early to avoid missing out.

The nature of film festivals is that we bring you unique films and those which may not be released in cinemas for months - sometimes even years.

We have brought films like ‘Woman at War’ and ‘In My Blood It Runs’ to Byron Bay WELL in advance of their general release.

Support the filmmakers, support the arts and support the film festival in 2023 by coming out and seeing great films you’re going to be hearing a lot about in the future.
