Where Australia’s XR Community Connects
October 13 & 14 2018
In 2016 along-side our established program of cutting-edge film content we launched Co_Lab_Create, a weekend of events, workshops and masterclasses specifically aimed at the growing Virtual Reality (VR)/ Augmented Reality (AR) sectors and the industries that have helped drive the creation of this medium – Venture Capital, Gaming, Film & VFX.
A networking, collaborative think-tank for Professionals seeking to unleash their creativity, grow their technical knowledge and the possibilities for Australasia’s XR Industry. Co_Lab_Create provides connections, skills and knowledge enhancement in the unique and beautiful setting of one of the world’s most famous beachside towns.
BBFF has a history of facilitating fresh collaborative and business partnerships and this is the spirit of Co_Lab_Create. Our intention to help grow a strong, stable and informed Australasian XR community who value best practice and innovative ideas.
Once again in 2018 for our 3rd annual edition of Co_Lab_Create we will bring representatives from leading and emerging Australian and New Zealand VR/AR/VFX companies together to discuss, debate and discover. Our 2016 and 2017 International delegates list included some of the world’s most dynamic companies and creatives working in this field and if you’re working in this realm new connections are ready to be built at this very special event.
We invite Professionals in these fields already working within the XR realms to register their interest in attending this special 2 day gathering through the link below. If you have any specific questions feel free to contact workshops @ bbff.com.au
This event is designed to create a space to get hands on – where minds can meet and, as the name suggests, collaborate and create. Reality is what we make it.
This year we will also open the event on Sunday the 14th to attendance from those looking to work in or engage with the Industry. Limited Sunday Tickets Are Available Here.
