Freed from the relentless machinery of an industrial farm, a single hen wanders out into the world - and finds herself walking straight into the wreckage of the human condition.

Moving through a crumbling seaside village on the edge of a modern migrant crisis, the hen becomes an unlikely, silent witness to the fear, desperation and quiet acts of humanity unfolding around her.

Director Pálfi György uses this deceptively simple premise to build something hypnotic - a formally daring parable that finds unexpected pathos in the perspective of an animal too often overlooked entirely.
