Jack Bailey “Untitled”

WORLD PREMIERE

GENRE: EXPERIMENTAL INSTALLATION | YEAR OF PRODUCTION: 2023 | COUNTRY: AUSTRALIA

DIRECTOR: JACK BAILEY

Jack Bailey’s “Untitled’ can be viewed upstairs at the Mercato between Palace Byron Bay and Ember.

Jack Bailey’s latest work offers a unique opportunity to travel through a visual and sonic wormhole into an alternate vantage point on the interface, between man and his manifested milieu. A 24-hour expansive journey, that challenges and transcends the modern boundaries of macro propaganda, and micro attention spans we have been so readily conditioned to.

Embracing the healing modalities and meditative allure of circadian rhythm, this yet to be titled work captures vaguely familiar dream like occurrences and sequential moments through lunar and solar illumination. Fractal moments, often buried in the psyche.

“Lift your head beyond your lap and witness the unfiltered wonder of the natural world.”

About Jack Bailey

Jack Bailey is a Byron Bay based, contemporary landscape artist with a sophisticated eye for abstraction, shape and tone. Through fastidious macro study of landscape, Jack strives to capture subconscious, fractal moments driven by recursion. All partial elements of the overarching panorama. Vaguely familiar dream-like occurrences buried in the psyche and recounted through unique, large format artworks that serve as meditative portals to the natural world.
